I don't know whether this rumor is true as far as I'm concerned:

Please take note don't eat all these tin meat anymore which is imported from China. These 2 brands of Luncheon Meat have been banned from entering Singapore since August 2007 for containing nitrofurans (an anti biotic for pigs) My friends, please take note and be cautious when purchasing Luncheon Meat or receiving it as gifts during Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year).
